More Than a Destination: Building the B.A.S. Travel Network

Travel means different things to different people.

For some, it's a family vacation or weekend getaway. For others, it's a cruise, conference, business trip, reunion, retreat or once-in-a-lifetime destination.

At B.A.S. – Travel Network, we believe the travel experience begins long before someone boards an airplane or walks onto a cruise ship.

It begins with an idea.

Travel Has Many Moving Pieces

The internet has made it possible to search thousands of flights, hotels, cruises and destinations within seconds. But having more choices doesn't necessarily make planning easier.

Where should you stay? When should you book? How will everyone get there? What happens when you're coordinating a group traveling from different locations?

Sometimes travelers simply want another person to help bring those pieces together.

B.A.S. – Travel Network provides travel services for individuals, groups and businesses while working alongside other independent travel professionals.

Travel Is Now Part of the BAS Ecosystem

Business Annex Solutions was built around a simple philosophy:

When we identify a gap, we annex the solution.

Travel became a natural extension of that philosophy.

People within our business and community networks travel. Businesses travel to conferences and trade shows. Organizations coordinate group events. Families take vacations. Groups cruise together.

Rather than viewing those needs as completely separate, BAS Travel Network provides another resource within the broader Business Annex Solutions ecosystem.

Group and Purpose-Driven Travel

Some of the most meaningful trips aren't simply vacations.

People travel for conferences, faith-based gatherings, reunions, educational experiences, retreats, celebrations and major milestones.

Group travel can create incredible experiences, but it also creates additional logistics. Different schedules, budgets, accommodations and departure cities may all have to come together.

Helping coordinate those details allows travelers to spend more time focusing on why they're gathering in the first place.

Building a Network of Travel Professionals

B.A.S. – Travel Network isn't only about serving travelers.

We're also interested in building relationships with independent and aspiring travel agents who want to participate in a larger network.

Not everyone interested in the travel industry needs to begin by trying to build a large travel agency. Some people may start by learning the business, referring travelers, assisting people within their existing network and growing from there.

That's why we're developing opportunities for what we call MINI Travel Agents—individuals who want to explore the travel business and become part of the B.A.S. Travel Network.

Our goal is collaboration rather than competition.

As the network grows, we can share knowledge, resources, experiences and opportunities while continuing to improve the experience for the traveler.

Where Travel Meets Opportunity

Ultimately, B.A.S. – Travel Network brings together two groups:

People who want to travel and people who want to help others travel.

Whether you're planning your next vacation, organizing group travel, traveling for business, or interested in learning more about becoming part of the travel industry, a conversation is a good place to start.

B.A.S. – Travel Network will continue exploring destinations, sharing travel experiences, providing useful travel information and developing opportunities for our growing network.

Because sometimes identifying where you want to go is only the beginning.

The next step is figuring out how we're going to get there.
